If you have purchased multiple tickets in a single order, you can easily transfer individual tickets to your friends. Once a ticket has been transferred, it will be assigned to the new holder’s account and can then be managed by them directly.
How Ticket Transfer Works
- Click "Transfer Ticket" next to the ticket you wish to transfer.
- Enter the email address of the person you want to transfer the ticket to.
- Start the process by clicking "Start Ticket Transfer".
- The recipient will receive an email from the Wacken Ticket Center containing all further information and a link to the Ticket Center.
- The recipient logs in to the Ticket Center:
- using their existing Wacken.ID, or
- by creating a new account if they do not yet have a Wacken.ID.
- The transferred ticket will appear in the "Requests" section and must be accepted there.
- Once accepted, the ticket will be available in the new holder’s account.
Important Notes
- Changing the ticket holder's name before transferring the ticket is not required.
- After accepting the transfer, the new ticket holder can change the ticket holder's name themselves.
- For admission to the event, the name stored on the ticket must match the actual ticket holder.
