You are generally permitted to bring your own generators, if you comply with the following safety measures and rules:
1. Generators with an output of up to 2 kW are permitted, if they are in good working order (no oil leaks, etc.).
2. Generators may not be used between midnight (12 AM) and 9 AM to avoid noise.
3. A maximum of 5 litres of fuel may be carried per vehicle in auxiliary tanks.
4. The usage of generators needs to be supervised at any time. A fire extinguisher should be available in case of emergency.
5. You are only allowed to bring generators that are normed after EU standards.
Security staff may confiscate generators in the event of violations and will only return them at the end of the event.
