We want people with disabilities to enjoy the festival as much as possible.
The Wheels of Steel area has been set up especially for this purpose. This area has an exclusive wristband exchange, only for guests of Wheels of Steel, in order to keep distances as short as possible for you.
Accompanying person
Metalheads with
disability cards from abroad should contact inclusion@wacken.com in advance.
Regulations for camping for people with disabilities
You can find detailed regulations for Metalheads with disabilities and all
offers that we provide in this context HERE.
With these measures, we hope to enable an event with as few barriers as
possible and characterised by integration, as far as this is possible on the
festival site. All sanitary camps have low-barrier shower/washroom/WC
containers.
You can find more information about inclusion at the W:O:A HERE.
If you have any questions or problems, please contact us by email: inclusion@wacken.com.
Food in the Infield
Medically necessary food must be registered with Alsterarbeit: alsterarbeit@wacken.de.
Alternatively, you can stow it in your bag and have it
checked and approved for the Infield at the Alsterarbeit service point in the
Wheels of Steel area.
During the festival, the Alsterarbeit contact persons will be available at the service point in the Wheels of Steel area. They will help you
from Sunday, 27 July 2025, to Saturday, 2 August 2025, from 10:00 AM to 10 PM and on
Sunday, 3 August 2025, until 10:00 AM. The staff at Alsterarbeit will also be happy
to help you with repairs (at cost price if necessary) and maintenance of your
aids.
You can find all information about our inclusion measures as well as a comprehensive brochure HERE.
